    Drake been moving just fine post beef, gave us great songs & vibes, if youre disappointed its probably because you wanted him to keep going at kendrick, i feel like these next few drops from both guys is gonna be about “did he come at the other guy again” instead of the music, and youre just setting yourself up for disappointment with that kinda mindset

    Drake been moving just fine post beef, gave us great songs & vibes, if youre disappointed its probably because you wanted him to keep going at kendrick, i feel like these next few drops from both guys is gonna be about “did he come at the other guy again” instead of the music, and youre just setting yourself up for disappointment with that kinda mindset

    i didnt want him to go at kendrick anymore and im disappointed by the recent drops

    not really the music itself, i do enjoy it, just all feels super sloppy and like it all leads no where

    wouldve expected him to move a bit more calculated and intentional post beef

    i think the math was basically at some point we had been given the equivalent of a song per week for 3 months straight

    coming out of one of if not the biggest beef in rap, you'd expect the moves to have a meaning, not just throwing s*** at the wall and seeing what sticks, not saying the music is s*** but thats sort of what it felt like

    obviously a lot of the songs that came out were features (maybe some of it was already delayed due to beef, or pre-planned before the beef) but not like drake hasnt stopped features etc before

    music aside, the plot twist as a whole generated so much hype and then went no where. i like all the music but its clear it was a mess and that reflects on him / his team

    idk, being a drake fan for a long time now i got used to his more intentional actions and i always thought of him as musics biggest marketing genius, but not looking like it now

    Plot twist is crazy for what it is, all that footage on its own is incredible, and the fact that he dropped a second pack of it all is even crazier, Ik we all hungry for more but at a certain point it’s okay for things to be what they are instead of everything always having to lead somewhere, especially if that somewhere is probably just another Drake album, we got the PND album in the works and another solo project in the way, we’ll be fine without needing plot twist for a rollout
