Nope. B/c the stuff isn't damaging right, its a bunch of make belief s*** and quite honestly all this s*** has been around for a while now. So really, what Kendrick did was make a hit record about it which circulates the core message around to a wider demographic of audience but at the end of the day when we look at the impact, Drake's STILL number one in total streams, as a rapper and artist. He's averaging the most streams (after Em/KL both died down). He's sold 5m units of album this year, no other rapper did 3.5m units. I wouldn't be surprised if rap beefs are already discussed in his contracts. Drake never ducks a true rap beef. Not with Meek, not with Push, not with Kendrick.

I do also think his drops after the beef has all been simply to get away from that moment. He's dropped these loosies, teaser songs to step away from the beef. If he drops a banger after NLU, people wouldn't give him neutral ears. I think maybe another three pack and some more time should get people to completely disassociate Drake away from the moment and expect what Drake does best to do which is produce hits. From all the signals, it seems he got something, a song that's a sure hit, that he's carefully keeping close to the vest to break MJ's record. That's why I'm not really trippin bout his track record post-beef.

His 2018 feature run was legendary and I wish we got something similar post Kendrick beef but frankly the nigga was battling more than half the industry. He's approaching it differently, we gotta trust him. It's been what? 4 months? look at how much the general public across real life, social media have changed their tune. In a few months, Kendrick's going to be continuously bottled into a cocoon whereas Drake will get back to doing what that nigga been doing for 16 years - produce hits for the mandem and the gyaldem.
