this nigga can whip something like that in 10 minutes and he can whip push ups in 1-2 hours but people think 'man drake is incapable of putting out a full rap album' lmaaaaao.

this nigga's pen is getting sharper by the season.

I remember listening to this over and over again, till I could write the entire verse off the top. I'd argue he never even sounded this crisp and lethal on HIS own time stamps - only one that comes close for me is Diplomatic Immunity.

    I thought Omerta went hard

I'm in the minority, but I got Omerta >>>>> Mob Ties. He was talking real greezy on Omerta.

My enemies send each other the texts that they could never send me
I'm bankin' two million a show for the residency
Nevada gaming commission in a frenzy
How much money can this casino lend me?

Man, truth be told, I think about it often
The petty king, the overseer of many things
I wish that I was playin' in a sport where we were gettin' rings
I wouldn't have space on either hand for anything
West Hollywood, know my presence is menacing
    Cosa Nostra, shady dealings
Racketeering, the syndicate got they hand in plenty things
The things that we've done to protect the name are unsettling
But no regrets, though, the name'll echo
    Years later, none greater
Death to a coward and a traitor, that's just in my nature, yeah

The biggest reason I've been a Drake is his ability to write from the perspective of a lived experience. He can go on many continuous lines that don't deviate from the central point like on Churchill Downs where he's literally talking about what was and would happen

100% bro. There's a reason these other rappers rap about the same two topics over and over again b/c they haven't lived life yet they don't have the array of experiences he has in all honesty. Every time he puts out a project, he's experienced new things that contributed to the birth of that project and that's why there's an inherently particular sound and vibe per project. Arguably the best storyteller ever

Most of his music is rap music and people think just because he has some hits outside of that and is successful at other kinds of music he just like isn’t a rapper, as if this ain’t the same man who made IYRTITL
