There’s no way people thought that Not Like Us wasn’t going to get a proper response. HP6 was just a rushed way of saying “you have me all the way f***ed up”

THP6 was basically 'ayo hold up my security f***ing got shot, let me make sure this nigga is alive and ok, hold this till i get back'

They want Drake to simply ignore for what? He a rapper first and that’s not what you do when you claim you the best and besides that nigga Kendrick really took it there so I’m all for Drake doing what he feels he wants to

Drake had his chance to defeat Kendrick and he fumbled. He lost and got embarrassed and had to sit through an entire summer while a hit record calling him a pedophile played all around the world. There's absolutely nothing he can do at this point to reverse that L. He can continue to throw shots on songs but starting up the beef again with diss tracks is a stupid move because the general public still won't support him over Kendrick, neither will anyone in rap. It's a lose-lose.

Man WE WANT ROUND TWO. Drake only lost bc of some bullshit false allegations. If you thought this was a one and done thing in the first place you were mistaken. Imagine letting another man call you a pedo and you just say okay whatever im moving on. F*** THAT ITS FOR LIFEEEE. And when the time come you getting it again

He called Kendrick a domestic abuser. Kendrick's dirt just so happened to be what stuck.

Yall may disagree but for the most part I agree here. It was pretty predictable how this was going to go from the start tbh.

Especially the part about responding initially. He really should have just let it ride out and made Kendrick look desperate for his attention.

He could have responded on a feature verse or waited till he was ready to drop his album and responded there. Same with the situation with Push. 2 major Ls could have been avoided if his pride/overconfidence/underestimating his opponent didn't make him jump off the porch when he really didn't need to.

I agree w buddy who wrote that thesis except for the part about Kendrick being better prepared, Kendrick sold his entire integrity as an artist to pull the w off this, dude spent a decade plus making music to educate and uplift black folks just to start callin another black man white and alienate him from his own culture, didn't reply for weeks while he was cooking that lil narrative up too, s*** don't sound prepared to me it sounds desperate.

Also idc if it's not the sensible move to reignite the beef I wanna see the greatest crash out of all time like nuclear type s***

    And yet, he still won.

The part y'all seem to not understand is this: none of this matters. No one went into this rap beef looking for morality or "playing by the rules." You'd have thought Drake learned that after what Push did to him. ANYONE that chooses to go at Drake knows they can't simply out-rap him. Drake can rap with the best of them if he wants to and he's immensely popular so simply "rapping well" won't ever do it. You have to throw dirt and play dirty. That's how Push won and that's what Kendrick did. Drake is the one going into rap beefs thinking there are rules to abide by when the only real rule is to win by any means necessary.

Unless he's willing to lose his mind crashing out and burn down the entire music industry with what he reveals, he can keep this game 2 nonsense.

One of the most amazing parts of being a Drake fan is seeing people pick between NTWS, CLB, Views, Take Care which one is the best etc but very few mention Scorpion and that jawn got 7 songs top 10 in the charts with a number 1 that sat on the top of the charts for 13 weeks. Like that's the best way to describe his greatness. Classic after classic, so many classics niggas forget his classics lol

I hear what you’re saying trust me, but unfortunately domestic violence in the industry hasn’t been taken serious for decades. Look at chris browns career and how strong it is. And that man had solid proof and tore rih’s face up. But pedo allegations ruin careers INSTANTLY in the industry. No one ever survives it. Also they both took it there which is my point, its never going to end. Neither should have started. But now that its here it doesn’t get better by ignoring it
