I have a lot of artistic visions i want to bring to life, from video fx and editing to drawing out characters and landscapes, i am good with computers so the first part is easy but ive always been mediocre at drawing

You would look up the animation process and storyboarding especially with composition. Learning how to frame with actual cameras would help as well.

For sure. It's a bit difficult at first to mend the shape but the more you work with it, then it starts to become realized
