Except Post Malone has been around for years now and hasn't shown any signs of progression, plus Drake was already more respected in 2009-2010 than Post will ever be.

That’s just not true.
He went from the standard rap sound of the times with Stones to creating his own sound with rock stylings and singing by the time he got to Hollywood’s Bleeding.
Drake’s sound back then didn’t really change until IYRTITL and cut out the Wayne biting in his bars.
