all the caffeineheads I've crossed paths with always carried themselves with this overly smug holier-than-thou attitude when it comes to regular patrons ordering a decaf at the coffee shop and they were disgusted as if this individual committed a cardinal sin in the vein of urinating in a helpless child's cereal box or something unseemly like that. I decided to take the leap today to see if these marks were as full of s*** as I thought they were and surprise, surprise if it talks like a blocked toilet it smells like one too. my suspicions were right on target and decaf is pretty hard and does the job without the impending crash of regular coffee.

Decaf in general objectively tastes way worse because the processing it has to go through

There’s some high quality decaf at more boutique roasters but it’s expensive.

Just drink a dark roast if you want less caffeine
