The High Road by JoJo... an album!

Listening to Victoria Canal's debut and the first half had me interested. Lil bit of Billie, Phoebe, Olivia vibes. Then she falls into the ballad trap.

The ballads from all these new pop stars are so damn boring! Billie's are the best, I guess. Is Ed Sheeran the last true pop balladeer?

Not counting Lana Del Rey, of course.

Ed songs I like: his first album, most of the second, I See Fire (his best song), Castle On The Hill (!)

Throughout pop history, a great song has always worked despite not having a great vocalist behind it. Ed's a great song/ballad writer imo.

I feel you tho, Bloodstream is great and I See Fire is one of my favorites too. The first two albums are good music for sure.
