Second full listen and I’m at the gym wit it

Yea this project is just okay to me. It’s not really exciting or interesting in a way that has me just pressed to come back to it. I think the production is the main sore spot for me. This sort of minimalist/ambient plugg style trap beats just don’t do it for me and idk maybe it’s just a personal preference but they feel unfinished and repetitive.

  • you know I’m gonna do you so bad…. but this s*** ā€˜bout to feel so good

When you alternate the playlist so that MIKE and Earl go back to back for the entire album

    YES

  • Notmyfirst

2010 just might be his best delivered song, incredible writing

  • Broscodolo

Earl describing the sessions for this as ā€œfriedā€ and ā€œnonverbalā€ make perfect sense lol they even said they would just leave songs unfinished because they liked where they were at at the moment 🤣

    Never been more vindicated

  • Niontay has the best verse on the entire album lowest of all keys

I like the album. Idk if I’m crazy about it yet. I think I’m still crazy over the fact it happened and it wasn’t a predictable thing they would do with the beats.

My main complaint is Earls side. On Twitter it’s a ongoing joke and hate of earls ā€œlazyā€ flow. I was always someone who didn’t mind it cause he’s always barring up crazy. But Jesus man for the beats he picked on his side he’s like doing them such a injustice with the lazy flow delivery

The way Earl rapped on that 2010 beat is how his delivery should of been the ENTIRE album.

  • Platinum

Its the best song on Earls half

    do agree

  • Headass

also RYP got great taste ngl also respect him working so much w Gud

  • Sisyphus might be my fav track for now

that the way he records is artistic intent and obv a performance aint the same but when i saw him last year for LLL tour it wasnt that crazy a difference and bro was fried the whole night so the delivery comes with that imo

Because LLL the nigga was awake lmao thats why it aint sound that different silly

Yall gotta remember earl sleepy style works a lot when it’s on his certain types of beats that people get used to.

When the type of production is 808 heavy and bassy full of percussion, a sleepy flow is gonna be jarring ESPECIALLY if the year before bro dropped his best/most awake album since Sick! (Fucking fire album)

Personally think the reason people underrating Mike album to earl’s is cause, with all due respect Pinball and some of Pinball 2 is s***ting on a good portion of Mike’s album production wise.

    Where tf was evilgiane?

SB: not a bad album but I get a lot of the criticisms
