hey, been a mod in politics for 8 months now, really appreciate the opportunity to help clean up my favorite part of my forum.

i've already mentioned it to @safe but i just wanted to make a thread about it just in case it gets lost:

i'm obviously very active in the politics section, and on nights like these where there is a major event which nets a thread 6000 posts in just a few hours, you're going to run into a lot of posts which break the rules (lots of avocation of violence etc) just due to the nature of what politics is

im unable to do much of anything since i dont have perms, but i would love to have the perms to mute users so i can help do my part clean up the section of the site i love the most.
