huey p rxcanbut it is super frustrating and embarrassing that this is first and foremost a hip hop forum that has a blatant racism problem. i mean ik that’s just how hip hop discussion is these days, but it’s not fair. i can blame kanye for the influx of racists in kanye forums but it’s getting to a point where i just feel like it’s not something mods are proactive enough on.
i’m not even tryna get niggas banned but it’s very obvious that something needs to shift culturally on here.
idk if the registration process is like open for anybody, but if it’s still hard to get an account on here, and a sizable amount of our users are racists, that’s embarrassing as f*** and we have to do better.
There's like zero black spaces for hip hop online at this point. It's why I don't listen to industry s*** anymore, the discourse is always white af and filled with white teenage bois and their adjacent counterparts

Really Hip-Hop is over tbh. We can't get it back, but globalization of culture has stunted our creative growth, there's too much money in it and too much financial incentive to protect it from whitey. Otherwise we would've been on to the next s*** by now

Bro I’ve done the research, I can’t find anything about Trump being racist bro! No more racist/bigoted than anyone from his generation or any former or current president. I always bring this up but he opened those clubs up for POC when they were white only before (knowing trump his intentions were more money) but that doesn’t erase the fact that he did that, regardless of intention
