Really like my Politoed card from Neo Discovery as well. Hanging of tree trunk with a big red sun/moon in the background. Reminds one of Japan.

The WoTC era art was incredible. I put together a Base-Fossil deck for a retro tournament recently and the art is so charming lol.

There is that "Wizards" at the bottom like on my "shinier" cards. Dont why they are shiny though.

Everything else checks out on them.

My only negative for FireRed is HM slave. Felt so nice in ZA to be able to have a full team of 6 to raise instead of 5 + HM slave

I dont have cut on any of them and it's pissing me off because I don't want a slave, though that was meowth up until now (that ability to take items is nice af)

I finally found dragonair in safari zone and it fled as soon as I threw the first bait

Don't throw bait in the safari zone. It makes them harder to catch. Better off just throwing balls lol

I read that it reduced the chance of the pokemon fleeing which is useful against the rare monsters like dragonair and scyther it did not work for me though, if I ever see another I’ll just try with balls

Surf on starmie and fly on Charizard is fine enough, but cut sucks. Probably getting rid of my butterfree but it's all I have with a psychic move atm and status moves

It’s so funny Charizard’s model was flying for so long because of the sky battle mechanic in XY that was only used maybe 4 times and immediately got abandoned after said game
