I've explained to my friend who quit playing 18 years ago (platinum) like 10 times now that gen 5 isn't 3-d and he somehow always forgets and says it's when the whole series "went to s***" though again he himself never went past gen 4.

Gen 9 is a completely different game on switch 2 and there's been a large amount of hunting that it was already supposed to be a switch 2 game that got forced into switch 1 due to all the delays.

And Kirby air riders , and some of the switch 2 versions imo.

But at the moment they're all in on more niche stuff so it makes a lot of sense why people are hesitant to get one at this point.

If you aren't heavily into pokemon (or at least just gen 9), a big Kirby fan (air riders + star crossed world), or into more side-series stuff (donkey Kong, Metroid), or an obsessive maro kart fanatic, it makes a lot of sense to not really be into it yet

Plus everything is so expensive that people are going to be more focused on rising grocery bills / electricity bills right now than dropping a premium price for a brand new console when they probably have a PC or switch 1 already

I got mine because I only just got to launch my legit career, am doing well for myself, basically only played my switch lite (PC and PS4 collect dust), and am primarily a fan of more Nintendo franchises. I've never owned a new console prior to it being at least a year old in my whole life. I hadn't bought a console in 6 years

No it can't. Switch 2 emulation doesn't exist yet (if ever, even. We have no idea because creating emulators can take years or just not be possible in some cases). Switch 1 emulation is not the same as firing up dolphin as well.

I emulate heavy bro. I have like 5 devices and started on mame2003 when I was a child. I built an arcade cabinet out of wood and a windows 98 desktop.

Emulating most the time is more about tinkering for me unless I'm doing nuzlocke/ironman type challenges. I guess I'll dock my retroid for some specific GameCube games to play with friends though

It's just more hassle than it's worth for me as a primary way to play when I have a full time job and just want to click play or play online with other people. Getting air ride multiplayer running last year was such a b**** for example and I hate joining weird discords for it.

Also I legit hate dealing with computers even if I'm "good" with them. I am so tired of modern windows and I want to keep my computer use to work as much as possible. Don't think I've used my gaming pc since helldiver's 2 or baulders gate 3 and I barely sunk that many hours into them

Research grading if you actually want to go that route for any reasons do not just walk into a GameStop for example

I have only scanned a few cards that I thought was rare so far

Portfolio currently at +800 dollars

And have two cards that I scanned but couldnt found the right option for yet

I got the new team rocket Mewtwo and I think I'm actually going to get it graded. Never done it before but it's by far the most pricey card I ever pulled. I have a few between 100-200 though

Yeah, I dont know if this scanning is really correct.

It messed up some that are either holo or holo foil.

And two cards that were holos I couldnt really find or put in. One holo Gastly and one holo Haunter.

I think my rarest according to the scanning is one Suicune holo foil. Magikarp holo. Or Dark Vaporeon holo foil.

It should say the set name on the card, with a number. Use the search bar to find your match
