Trying to think of a way for it to be the third fairy/steel type
Beast of Reincarnation looks amazing. I wish they just let that be their 3D game and make Pokrmon back 2.5D 😭
i made a mod of Pokemon Crystal. it is mainly QoL improvements to the leveling, difficulty, the variety of encounters, and and other stuff like TMs. If anyone wants to play it, lmk, and i can post a link.
Hold up 🤔

just beat Legends ZA.
this is the first modern Pokemon game that I’ve loved since Pokemon X & Y, and how ironic that it takes place in the same region of Lumiose. the gameplay loop was extremely addicting, with the battle system being super fun to master. I also didn’t mind how confined the game was. I’ve played way too many open world games lately, and this was a breath of fresh air. the characters in this game also are some of my favorite in the franchise, and were full of personality and wit. it truly is a shame though that the series still doesn’t utilize voice acting, as it would amplify a lot of the cutscenes and bring more weight to the emotional scenes. my only flaw was that the story kind of became a bit convoluted with the different teams intermingling towards the end, and I feel it could have focused on just a handful. overall, I had a blast with this game and I can’t wait to see what gen ten has in store later this year.
9/10

that’s the one generation I’m the most unfamiliar with. is it worth playing?

Platinum is essentially in contention for the best pokemon game ever made. It really just depends who you're talking to.
Platinum is peak but any other game directly associated with gen 4 (not legend Arceus) isn't actually good

Yeah
I don't know how different it would be from the newer games but i usually only play rom hacks from the first two regions so it was good to play a more modern gen

Somehow in most Pokemon playthroughs I've had, Golduck ends up being a mainstay in my teams
Old faithful fr, just a solid all rounder

Usually ends up being one of my best water types and gives my team psychic moves without relying on Kabadra or something which has putrid Defence

Do you only play early gens?
I don't think I've ever used one. I definitely have many water and psychic types I'd pick first
Definitely a unique mainstay compared to garchomp being in damn near every team I've ever had lol

2 years old beta but already looks more detailed than ZA and scavio ever were on release
The Pokémon Company paid more to air and produce its Super Bowl commercial than the total budget for developing Pokémon Legends: Z-A
