with the DLC giving new Mable requests i don’t think 1000 battles is mandatory anymore for the shiny charm
za or arceus ?
arceus is more about catching pokemon and za is more about battling so it depends which you prefer
Oh the twister becomes an object you can attack
that was not clear
Rayquaza fight way easier now that I actually understand it, just beat him lol

You can go either way tbh. I would say that Arceus has the better world since the locations are more varied, but even after like 200+ hours of ZA, I'm still not sick of the city setting with Lumiose lol. Personally, I'd go for ZA since it's the newer game (better performance, higher resolution, etc.), but I don't think you can make a bad choice. Both are very fun and enjoyable games with a lot of charm.

The mechanic for throwing pokeballs and catching Pokémon in Arceus was so fun and made it my favorite Pokémon game in a long time. Should make that a fixture in the series moving forward if they’re planning to stick with open world.
Getting all the Eeveelutions is something I do in pretty much every Pokemon game playthrough but why tf did they make getting a Ditto so difficult in Platinum
I need the National Dex and hope for RNG luck just to encounter it

Johto is so goated for putting the ditto spawn right next to the daycare

Facts. Shout out Black 2 as well for making Eevee a wild Pokemon
Come to think of it, I've only really done the Eeveelution thing in gens 1, 2 and 5. Wasn't an option for me in Emerald because I'm on emulator. Always been a major source of frustration for me, I've never had an Alakazam or Machamp

I never finished any Pokédex as a kid cause I didn’t have anyone for trading but once Pokebank and Home was a thing, I started collecting a living national dex and finished it

I haven't ever been into the series like that, your typical "stopped playing after Gen 3/4" casual fan. But sometimes I just be feeling this serious urge to play a Pokemon game
Been watching RDC livestream a Cobblemon mod that a fan made for them and it just looked like so much fun that I picked up my Platinum save again
But yeah, I never completed a Pokedex in any game or been into those additional features even though I've been playing these games for 20 years
I will say though a large part of that is the fact that I've always played these games on PC/Mobile via emulator
