GGs
Game is very fun with a lot of good decisions and features in it. Highly recommend despite performance issues. (Arceus still better though)
The one thing I will say is this gen might be the best Gen in terms of best new Pokémon designs. There’s so many insanely good new Pokémon designs. I love so many of them!
They should have the NPCs that you battle walking around just like the wild Pokémon instead of them just standing there

Hopefully they patch some s*** by the time I’m playing this in like a month(wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t cuz game freak are scummy) I got my switch already and looking forward to it tho nonetheless.
This and bayonetta 3 are going to be the first two games I really get into.
@Ultima is there any worry to duping items?
As far as I saw no. Nobody has been banned online from that.

How are these 2022 graphics lmao
My updated Pokémon tierlist, S tier is loosely ordered. Despite FPS issues ScVi has so many innovations for Pokémon that were desperately needed, it’s so good in a story/gameplay aspect. Still think even if ScVi had no performance issues Arceus is better because it was just so much fun and the Arceus catching mechanic would need to be put in another game for it to be topped.
If there was no FPS issues ScVi would probably pass Sun/Moon because the new Pokémon designs and gameplay are just that good.
S tier is very loosely ordered, everything in S tier are some of my all time favorite games so I wouldn’t harp on order too much. All are fantastic for different reasons.
Having replayed Gen 3 in 2021, there is in fact too much water that actually drags the game down because the water sections become a slog to get through.
Gen 4 main games have a weaker story than most, marsh areas that are the most annoying thing Pokémon has ever done and a relatively weak new wave of Pokémon in terms of design.
SwSh was way too easy, way too linear, poorly developed raids, lack of Pokémon, and an overall forgettable experience.
I re-played all gens 1-7 in 2021 so these are fresh opinions and not blinded by nostalgia or recency bias.

How are these 2022 graphics lmao
I mean it’s a portable system with a 6 year old graphics processor lol
Found another shiny Golduck today

Damn dawg u got a charm? Or been eatin them sammiches?
Shinies looks kinda easy to catch they’re showing how to go to outbreaks, kill 60 Pokémon then start a picnic and go looking for any shinies

yeah but there’s a small chance to find the exact Pokémon you want in an outbreak, and some Pokémon don’t have outbreaks, rn I’m shiny hunting iron valiant and there’s no iron valiant outbreaks for instance
Nope full odds lmao

That’s how I got mine too
I need more
I thought i'd get over the problems but it's too hard to ignore them man
Legends Arceus came earlier and is like 10x better in performance and graphics

yeah it’s because arceus wasn’t seamless open world, there’s a loading screen between each of the areas. It’s a lot more taxing on the system to do it this way so the graphics lose fidelity, it’s a balance
switch pro with backwards compatibility is our only hope at this game ever looking good or running well I fear

I would be so surprised if the next console is anything but a more powerful switch, this s*** is a money printer

Man stop it lol. There are plenty games that are switch exclusives that look and perform way better than this s***

that wasn’t the point lol. The guy said “how is this 2022 graphics?”
Even the best looking game like botw is still 720p 30fps with big fps drops when the combat gets intense, the switch just isn’t capable of keeping up with “2022 graphics” even at its best

Facts
There’s plenty of beautiful ass Switch games that run amazing at 30FPS / 60FPS
ScarVi running so s***ty is because of the game developer
Yes, we badly need a stronger Switch. But don’t blame the hardware cus you don’t put in the work to make it run and look good

sure but we can still expect a higher quality of optimization for the console than the one we got, no?
