I mean even with a stronger switch it wouldn't make a difference. Game Freak are just not good devs. Their games are never optimized.
And they’ll get away with yet another s***ty game cus Pokémon fans will buy whatever they release regardless if it’s good or not
Must be so lit to know no matter what garbage you release, yo dumb ass fans will always buy it no matter what

Ya, this made me realize Pokemon is the Drake of the videogame industry

Yeah it doesn't matter. Just throw in a trash gimmick, fake open world, and some new Pokemon and it'll sell. I can only imagine how the devs of Breath of the Wild feel that games that are half baked sold more than Zelda.
I aint gonna lie
I bought Shield, Brilliant Diamond and Arceus all day one from the store but I aint supporting this f***ery anymore
I'll buy a 2nd hand copy when I feel like it, but GF can go f*** themselves
And it's a shame cause Arceus is prob a top 3 Switch game to me just cause of how fun it was to play it tbh, but this looks mid and undercooked

That's what I do. I haven't bought a Pokemon game from a store since Sun and Moon. I refuse to give them money. I get it day one through a plug now.
TMs back to not being infinite lmao. You also have to create TMs with materials you collect from wild Pokemon. So have fun killing 50 Lechonk to make that Ice Beam TM lol
Crafting is goated so

Holy s*** the reviewers are s***ting so hard on the performance.
Wouldn’t be too worried honestly, the build eurogamer played isn’t up to date - they even mentioned the sunflora running and lighting is better in the Japanese trailer than it was in the preview they played
need the black and white remakes
I’d honestly just have them do a Legends Unova game. They’re most likely just going to do a simple BDSP-remake of BW1 and I can’t see how they’d incorporate BW2 which imo is essential to the whole experience.

I don't think Eurogamer said this. I think people was comparing the international trailer and the Japanese trailer.
Edit: yeah they wasn't saying the preview build was old. They were making note how they noticed that the English trailers were choppy and pointed out the sunflora and the Japanese trailer was better. They then went on to say how their experience during the preview was and that the performance was still bad. They're playing the latest build and said that they're playing the pre-day one version of the game. So it may be a patch.
"less than a month away, Scarlet and Violet seriously struggled with performance. Some might have noticed brief moments in recent trailers where a windmill moves at a stuttering, stop-motion speed, and Sunflora follow the main trainer with some very choppy motion. This may just be an early build showing its earliness - a Japanese version of one of these trailers seemingly shows some different lighting and noticeably smoother motion for those Sunflora, for instance - but I found Scarlet and Violet to be like this throughout. Menus are slow and noticeably laggy, and animations are hugely choppy, with NPCs moving like flicker book drawings even at very close distance, and town buildings loading in as you walk through their streets. Again, we are pre-launch here and things can of course change, but I've played a few Pokémon game previews now, and Scarlet and Violet are without doubt the roughest feeling of those."

I was able to resell shield and arceus for almost full price so I’ll just do the same if violet isn’t my thing

Ah gotcha, the day one patch should be ironing out the quirks we been seeing then
@coochieman I think you may find this stuff interesting.
damn that was tough to read
watch this be the first pokémon game with a day 1 patch

Didn't Legends Arceus have a day 1 patch? I think people should come to terms that Pokemon just isn't optimized well and never has been. They got away with it on Game boy and DS because let's be honest as kids we thought most of their glitches and bugs was apart of the game. Now they can't hide it and gaming media did jack s*** about it.
He ain’t f***ing with you…
honestly it’s just the candle on its head that seems off to me, but I’m sure it’ll grow on me
