I honestly believe this game could been pushed back a few months to work more on it.

Like since 19 of Nov, we got the 4th Gen remakes (Honestly, the worst remakes BY FAR, not a bad game per se but compared to the other remakes its disastrous), the legend of Arceus game that had a positive reception, and now 18 of November we have a new generation.

3 f***ing main games in a year. I think they could of spaced out the games a lot better, so we could of got legends of arceus in a later date and 8th gen next year.

But its just wishful thinking, i know how The Pokemon Company moves

This didn't have to get pushed back at all. This game was already in the works BEFORE PLA and Diamond and Pearl remakes. 4 years to be exact. They started working on SV while they were finishing up SWSH back in 2019, PLA became a passion project after some devs saw that it might be fun to play in the sandbox they used to start SV. They didn't just start the game. People just need to stop holding game freak to high regards. They stopped caring about quality after the DS games. The 3D era has been nothing but making money.

Man I remember how popular this s*** was on the late 90s/early 2000s. Carried my cards with me everywhere I went. I remember when I traded my best friend all his doubles (shitty pokemon) for my new zapdos like a dumbass. Ah those were the days

Yeah i dont really have expectations in them, but its so crazy they dont even try to optimize the game so it doesnt lag, like they are already so behind other games, they dont even reach the minimum 😭

But they still making money, nothing will change

The more videos that release, the less hype I am for this

it’s sad pokémon games have been 3d for almost 10 years now but the progress the series has made has felt really slow

arceus and scarlet violet feel like the biggest steps aside from XY but they still play and look like PS2 games

A series like pokemon should be getting botw treatment even on old dated nintendo hardware, but that's beating a dead horse, we had that discussions plenty of times as fans of the series
