Starter evolutions must be f***ing ass if they're holding of from showing them until release

took them long enough to do this

makes backtracking through weaker areas easier at least

i think they usually hold out on revealing the evolutions until the end

i remember with XY the first evos were a month before release and the finals were revealed like the day before LOL

course they already leaked prior but still

wanted to say it will make evolving easier
but then i remembered that the dumb ass exp share is in the game so evolving is already too easy

PLA they didn't reveal the final form of the starters until the week of the game

if it’s anything like the past 2 gens there’s a the goofy team and another secret evil organization masquerading as good (aether foundation, whatever tf the villains were named in SWSH)

Gen 8 didn't have a secret evil team. They tried to do a "twist" with the chairman, who wasn't even evil, but he didn't have a secret organization. That was only in Gen 7 with Team Skull and Aether foundation.

There isn't really a "evil team" in Gen 9. Because the theme is basically around kids in school, the "evil team" this time around are just bullies.

They really gave those two armour pokes flash fire as an ability

Boost their attacking stat when hit by fire moves and make them immune to fire attacks. That's not really a bad ability to have.

I know what the ability does Im just asking from a competitive standpoint. I guess switching into fire moves without worry for damage is nice but still I feel like its a waste to give both pokes the same ability

I like the fact that it looks like we're getting a fire type close combat.

They have the same ability because their version exclusives and rivals. At least Flash Fire is useful compared to something that could have been worst like Rivalry. The sword one will probably be the better one anyway.
