Grinding is also Mh core gameplay loop. You don’t really have to grind in souls games to finish the game
I don’t really consider regular monsters as boss enemies when their are clearly boss type elder dragons monsters in the game.
And like I said before there’s more to learning attack patterns. You can learn enemy attack patterns in a game like DMC.
But you specifically hunt monsters over and over for parts to craft weapons. Souls games there are already specific weapons out there and there is only one way to upgrade them , compared to extra crafting in MH like gem slotting
You’re focused on comparing the action but there’s more to Mh that’s not in souls games.
I have never played a souls game and felt like it played like Mh because they don’t .
I agree and yes I'm comparing the combat something Arceus doesn't even have. But I also have never played Arceus and felt like I'm playing monster hunter. Imagine playing Arceus and thinking your playing monster hunters. All those games are different as f*** but at least two of them have similar combat. While the other two have similar uis? I guess doesn't make me feel like I'm playing monster hunter tho.

I'm not saying there identical the combat is similar the big ass bosses you fight have to be approached in a similar way. Sure in Bloodborne you don't have to kill them over and over. But I feel heavy I have iframes I have weapons and I feel incredibly accomplished after defeating a boss especially if I did it by myself. Arceus has no bosses that require any kind of tactical approach no combat no weapons.
Im dead ass in monster hunter you observe the monster and learn his patterns and probably get the d*** whilst doing it. That's literally what you do in Bloodborne. And you fight big ass f***ing bosses that have unique movesets. I havent played much elden ring but I'm p sure there's big ass bosses you have to learn how to fight in it. combat in mh and Bloodborne are also kinda similar dodging is your main evasion and everything feels weighty. Pokemon has bosses you throw balms at?? Lmfao you figure out what to do damn near instantly. Arceus seems like it's mostly about catching to me. Bloodborne and monster hunter are focused on combat and cot damn is that s*** good. I don't recall hunting s*** in Pokemon, sure you can dodge roll but I ain't stabbing or cutting a cot damn thing.
Bro you named one thing out of an entire game. PLA is to the T like Monster Hunter. I even listed all the similarities they have and you overlooked them. That's why I'm questioning if you played any of these games.
A large portion of PLA is the missions. In PLA you go to the mission board to hunt for a Pokemon that's causing trouble and defeating it for an item or finding a specific item for the mission. That's to a T like MH mission system.
The Frenzy hisuian pokemon boss battles are the exact copy paste boss battles of elder dragon bosses in MH where you have to lower their shields in order to do damage.
You're only talking about specifically game battle mechanics which make up probably 20% of the game core mechanics. So many games use the rolling mechanic.
Like Dawg said a big part of MH weapon mechanic is repetitive hunting of material in order to craft weapons. Souls games DO NOT have this mechanic.
Like I said the most MH and souls games have in common is that you can roll in combat. MH even has a rock paper scissors function where certain elements do more damage vs an enemy and certain weapons are more effective. Very soldem do a boss in souls games have a 4x weakness to elemental attacks where they take colossal damage.
I can't think of a game with more similar combat to mh it's gotta be Bloodborne
Bro you have to be trolling at this point

Bro your probably right but I have never played Arceus and thought I'm playing monster hunter legit hasn't crossed my mind I'm trying to think about it right now and it doesn't compute for me. And Ive been playing monster hunter since 4 ultimate I think. I played gen. Gen ultimate. World and rise. And I played them a f***ing lot. I have 45 hours on Arceus its the s*** I just run around catch monsters all day mass outbreaks when they pop up I feel like I don't even know wtf I'm doing on it tbh as far as crafting or wether I should buy stuff I just hoard everything I'm stupid and my pastures are almost full there messy as f*** too absolutely disgusting.

Mass outbreaks in PLA are the EXACT SAME MECHANIC IN WORLD BRUH. In world there's a mechanic where a certain monster will spawn more often than others. It's no way you don't see the similarities as someone who played MH games extensively. NO WAY.

I didn't play world much my most played are 4 ultimate and prob gen ultimate on 3ds. I thought rise was dope just got to the elder dragons or whatever and I think I stopped might've beat one. In monster hunter I hunt for armor and weapons in Arceus I hunt for shinies. There both the s*** tbh

Maybe I'm just dumb
Or smoked out. Iive out my samurai fantasies on monster hunter

Bro I'm telling you PLA is literally MH. Like down to the sneaking mechanic.

I don't sneak around in monster hunter I run around with dual blades and go chop chop chop!! When the monster Is sleeping I guess I sneak up to plant a bunch of bombs around him and then I go chop chop chop.
Wish legends had more magic moments like finding the blissey chillin with the machokes on top of a mountain, or finding a frosslass youve been hearing the echoes of throughout the map. Its moments like those where the game really shines. Less of the tedious grinding and more soul and attention for detail with the next legends and its gon be a classic.
The gameplay loop itself is super addicting, just needs more depth than, hit pokemon with ball of mud, run behind it and throw a ball.
Soundtrack is amazing but i hate that it cuts off whenever a pokemon agros you. s*** is so annoying. The music is amazing let me f***ing listen to it

they’re for sure starting work on a new legends right now since gen 9 is in the final stages of development and probably moslty focused on bugfixing and playtesting
all the artists and writers are prob drafting up legends celebi or legends Jirachi

No they're not working on another Legends. Legends was basically a demo for Gen 9. Just like Lets Go was a demo for Gen 8.

There is no new legends game. The next game you get like Legends will be Scarlett and Violet. Pokemon Legends was basically a demo or sandbox to practice for the mechanics to appear in S/V.

incorrect lol
legends is a new series that’s focused on researching Pokémon
the mainline games will never have those arceus mechanics of researching Pokémon, it’ll just be about catching and battling
