I actually hope they improve the graphics/resolution a bit by release lol.
S*** looks rougher than Arceus currently n i expect it to look at least a lil bit better than Arceus considering its the next one & they should have a grasp on the Arceus engine now. Switch can do way better, but it is early ass beta footage. They improved Arceus by a good amount from its intial reveal to release, so more than likely the same will happen here, hopefully.
Dont need it Mario Odyssey level but we shouldnt see straight cubes n crazy ass un-optimized asset jaggies etc. everywhere.
People expecting it to look like Horzion on PS5 or Snap on Switch tho which is a rail shooter, theyre just delusional n want to complain.
World looks cool tho regardless of the resolution n optimization.
It's most likely going to look exactly like Arceus with some upgrades. I don't think anyone is expecting it to look as good as a PS5 game, but the game shouldn't look like something from GameCube era when many games on the same system look and run way better by miles.
I couldn’t care less about the graphics aslong it’s fun
Legend arceus was bad graphically and most fun I had with Pokémon game in 15 years
It's not surprising at all seeing as SW/SH competitive is ending this year. It's also been two years since a new main series game has been announced.
I think a lot of people consider Arceus a mainline game which is why some people think it’s too soon. Also debatable to call the remakes a mainline game.
So basically 3 sets of mainline games in 12 months is a lot for some people.
My personal take is wether Arceus is technically a mainline game or not, it feels like a mainline game so it is a lot of Pokémon in one year. BDSP are remakes but they are remakes of mainline games so it’s a lot of games that take a ton of hours to 100% or complete in one year.
Personally I love it because I’m 100% down with that much Pokémon in one year because I don’t get burnt out of Pokémon and I don’t care about spending money. But I can see why people wouldn’t be down with that and would get burnt out of too much money or younger fans not having enough money to buy that many Pokémon games in one year.
I hope the seamless catching and battling wild Pokémon mechanics from Arceus is in Scarlet & Violet.

Arceus is a mainline game, but it's more so a side project than the next iteration. Something they played with like a sandbox while they worked on Gen 9.
Also if you like shiny hunting in PLA don't update. They patched the shiny outbreak method. You also can't reload saves to save a shiny either.
Damn just realized we got another cat starter not even more than 2 gens later. At least 4 generations has passed since the last duck pokemon
yeah looks like a reskin Litten
Why was a wurmple fighting a staraptor in the arceus update
assisted suicide

I don’t disagree but there a lot of amazing graphics games that are just not fun at all game play
Obviously it’s possible to have amazing graphics and amazing gameplay. Those games are considered goty but I don’t think a Pokémon game was ever considered goty.
People just want to fun time playing Pokémon like they did when they were kids

Never shiny hunted but WHAT
I know people were praising PLA for the shiny hunting ease, but perhaps it was just way easier than intended.

Holy s***, it already automatically downloaded and installed too

I thit it would be announced this year then released early to mid 2023

Apparently that was all a bug and was patched in the latest update.

Yep, if you update than your going to be shiny hunting like it was intended.

I got like 10 shinies off just roaming around. Even an alpha shiny Gyrados
