Have seen some streams and honestly the game looks so much fun. The fast paced battles and the gameplay is very refreshing and what pokemon needed. Also the huge areas to explore
Hope in the future they continue with this type of gameplay and make an even better and bigger game
Ok so someone rushed through the game without completing any side quests or the dex and it took them 23 hours, so whoever said 5-8 was capping
If you don’t rush and do all side quests and post-game content it’s probably much longer, 40-50 or more

sounds like botw lol
Didn't botw famously not have this?
did you not play botw? there’s a 1-2 hour introduction where an old man teaches you a bunch of stuff before you’re allowed to leave the tutorial zone and explore the game
Like it goes hard or it’s difficult?
Goes hard but it’s not super easy either

Forreal? I don't remember BOTW having this. In this game the first 1-2 hours is literally tutorial missions. How to battle, how to craft, changing clothes, go to this building and learn about dialogues, etc.

Yeah it was extremely free-form for a Zelda tutorial

nah botw u get thrown into the world to explore. this s*** was holding ur hand for way too long

Botw had the least intrusive tutorial ive ever played. The old man interacts with you like 3 times, you're completely free to explore the area you're in with the only limits being the high walls of course and the shrines you have to beat. It also doesnt teach you almost anything, it lets you learn the mechanics of the game by playing around in the area
Legends Arceus is probably the best Pokmemon game ever made and probably the best Switch game ever made.
You can finally Mass Release Pokémon
Man what i swear they had this in SwSh or at least pokemon home had it

If you complete the dex as in get to10 level research for each Pokémon it’ll take you way longer than 40 hours. I’ve already put in around 18 hours and barely scratched the surface.but it’s another XC2 where you can side track yourself for hours.

Yeah Pokémon home had it, but thats it, this is the first time you can do it from in-game

I guess because I’ve played through it 3-4 times but that first hour tutorial becomes a slog, so maybe I just don’t remember the first time I played
maybe I thought it wasn’t too bad back then

I guess it can be if you just want to explore hyrule beyond the great plateau, but the tutorial itself is the opposite of a slog, the game gives you a lot of freedom, hell you can even avoid getting any weapon, armor, bow or some way to heat link up for the snowy mountain because the game never explicitly tells you to do those things

yeah I think it’s just because I’m impatient, I’m the same way in fallout 3 where I just want to skip the vault and be free to go anywhere
