You can manually choose when to evolve pokemon now. No more everstone 🙂

It's nothing major. But I had a Starly, and I had to select the option in the menu to actually evolve the bugger.

I guess they added it because you get alot of EXP through just catching so it'll probably just keep stopping gameflow.

Y'all know that evolution system has been decades in the making right? That system was originally planned for Pokemon Gold and Silver where you would have been able to evolve Pokemon even during battle.

It’s always like this though. They always improve immensely and make a huge leap when they release a 2nd game/gen on the same system. DP -> BW. XY -> SuMo. Both were huge leaps. SWSH -> LA is the same. SWSH was pretty mid excluding DLC so I don’t blame y’all for having doubts
