That's not how the poll works. If you like Venusaur pick it. It's not like Venusaur would beat out any of those regardless of the poll anyway. But for Greninja to beat out Pokemon like Mewtwo, Charizard, Eevee, and other Kanto Pokemon show that people have more interest in the Ninja frog.

People have really memed “it just gets bigger” evolutions for years and this is literally “it just gets bigger” and people are going crazy over it.

Numbers are always bullshit, they never match up with your own playthrough numbers

Also there’s different completions, like completing the game at a normal pace may take 20 hours but completing the dex and all side missions may take much longer

Then you have nuzlocke challenges, multiple playthroughs, shiny hunting, maybe dlc, etc.

From what I saw people are saying the story isn't that long if you rush through it. 5-8 max you can beat the entire story in one day. Most people chalked that up to speed runs. If you take your time and complete the whole game it's at least 20-30 hours. That's honestly not bad and I don't see what people are upset about. Most people can beat a Pokemon game in 2-3 hours.

Omg youre so stupid. Greninja didnt compete with charizard or pikachu. It competed with kalos mons who are unknown and less popular among most pokemon fans. People had to choose 1 pokemon from kanto and 1 from johto etc.
