This is the innovation gamefreak needed, and it only took outsourcing a remake to do it. Hope they keep outsourcing for other things too so they can make good games

Nah they didn't outsource it. ILCA doesn't make games. They make promotional videos and production of the such. I think it's probably a "co-developed" situation like how ILCA helped with PV on Nier Automata, Code Vein, and Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.

Leaker said remakes are developed by ILCA and not GF. He specifically worded it like this cause he said gamefreak has been working on the 2022 game instead

I think he got what he read wrong or looked at the information in the video wrong. Look up ILCA. They don't make games. They only do production work.

Yeah i know they usually co-develop games, but that doesnt mean they can't make games of their own. They recently hired Monster Hunter world iceborn director that could've been involved in this. At best they probably shared development with a handful of gamefreak developers

I guess we're talking about the same thing but with different words lol, what i said was that letting a big part of the work to other studios is beneficial for gamefreak cause they can focus more on making actual good games
