personally don't think they've dropped a good game since bw2 but i at least still enjoyed my first playthrough for the past 2 gens

This is the sad result of modern HD development. If people are gonna want a super nice looking Pokemon games, especially with the amount of Mons they have, they have to accept longer development times. It'd been 2 years since Switch launched and this might be one of the worst lookin exclusives.

People want "BOTW Pokemon" that s*** gonna take 5 years.

Idk dawg, lately my purchases have been pretty spontaneous. If I get the urge on release day then I will get it then. If not, I won’t. I might just skip it completely too. Hard to tell. I don’t need it but I could get it if I would get a sudden urge or interest. I’m not having any cravings for a Pokémon game though.

True, and I think Ultima said that the game been in development for 5 years or so IF I recall correctly. Pokémon Let’s Go tickled my spine more than Sword and Shield has done so far tbh.

They started concept phase right after sun and moon which lasted a year, Ohmori said it was three years of development after that including the debug time.

Nope

About 3-4 years. It's so conflicting. One said it started during the S/M Dev time the other say it happened after 2016. This game had a longer time of development than usual. It shouldn't be this bad tbh.
