Let's Go is 2D game, completely, and Sw/Sh is also a 2D game, except for the 3 different wild areas

Sw/Sh looks better in so many ways that Let's Go couldnt, like view distances and paths that arent so uniform to left, right, up, down

not defending Gen 8 tho s*** should have been fully 3D with much nicer textures

Pokemon let’s go is f***ing beautiful, one of the best looking games on the console

Sw/sh is different because it’s 3d but for a 3d game it was incredibly linear AND they just left out a lot of background detail and assets. I guess for performance

the artstyle is gorgeous i cant lie but it is a primitive frame underneath the beauty

well yeah it’s the same frame as the 90s game but for me I’m just nostalgic for how primitive it is lol

i think the reason we dont have a fully 3D game yet is because it wont feel like Pokemon anymore
