Started playing Sword and it’s my first Pokemon game playing since Platinum and I religiously played the games in each generation up until then.

So far it looks beautiful but I just barely made it past the 1+ hour of explanation and hand holding in the beginning but I’m excited to keep playing. I gotta get used to all this new s*** though like gigantamax

What’s the major criticism these games have? Is it just about the new Pokémon and the incomplete Pokédex?
