I legit never had a issue catching a G-Max. Usually let it knock out whoever I'm with and then throw balls at it.

F***kkkkkk you think G-Max are hard try catch Mewtwo in Gen 1 without a master ball. Use to get swept all the time especially with the chance the ball can miss
