Never waste time thinking about which card to pick. It's already been picked and doesn't matter

Opening packs I look for the crinkled one but it's only a higher chance of foil/art, not a guarantee. I believe all the others are the same pack but differ from the crinkled ones

Just won cause the stranger I was playing ragequit after getting a bad coin toss, I’ve felt like doing the same before lol

Neither of us had any points yet and it was early game so it was just pure frustration not necessarily because I was gonna win lmao

I honestly feel bad because the game is so broken. Coin tosses feel too important.

Until you go against another celebi build and the whole game is just flipping coins and randomly deciding who wins

Yeah the fact the game relies so heavily on RNG and not making good plays is really deafening lol super noticeable

is every aspect of opening packs/wonderpicking like preset or predestined or whatever or only wonder picks?

No, what I said only applies to wonder pick

For normal boosters you can find one that has like a crimp or bend either at the top or bottom, usually at the top, which has higher odds of getting a foil or art card. It's not guaranteed but it is a very clear difference, I usually always look for it but give up if I make it back to the beginning. Id say like 8.5/10 of the crimped packs I've opened gave me a 'rare' card, such as full art Gengar (my chase card) like 4 days ago

Opening any non crimped booster is auto generated after you pick it to open. The crimped ones I'd assumed are generated at that point too, but with different odds set

Edit sorry I already basically said this in what you replied to. This is basically the only variance aside from "choices" in wonder pick or booster picking which is essentially pre determined or like the choices have no effect really. I'm pretty sure they're trying to manufacture superstitious behavior patterns in the user base

Nope they shouldn't be as far as I'm aware. I just look for the crimp once then open a random one if there's no quickly found crimp lol

Unfortunately right before replying to the other guy I opened my packs. Found 2 crumpled, only 1 had a rareish card but wasn't special. Yesterday it's how I got full art marshadow, which was already a card im pumped af to use

There's at least one example in here, but there's like 2-3 variations of the top crimp ones. They're very noticable if you're looking

    dexerto.com/pokemon/pokemon-tcg-pocket-crumpled-pack-exploit-explained-does-it-actually-work-2971987

Edit lol I like that the article is basically saying it's not true just because the company hasn't spoken on it. Like I said it's no guarantee but I've at least experienced a very clear higher rate of gaining rare cards personally at least
