It released an entire month before MUSIC.

MUSIC was #1 for three different weeks and Drake stans were on here calling it a flop

MUSIC is far from a flop lol, though going #1 is just about who else drops that week. A Boogie went #1 with 58K once lol.

For comparion's sake, I think PND&Drake will stay ahead in overall units unless Carti continues to ship physicals (he did last week)

for ref, Carti's 16 week total is 948 053 (as of July 4)
    PND&Drake's first 16 week total is 1 108 965

Use the links I sent earlier for Carti #'s.
    Source for PND&Drake: hitsdailydouble.com/charts/ytd-albums/2025-06-06

at the same time though, PND&Drake being ahead doesn't take away from Carti's numbers at all. They impressive as f***.

    Regarding influence he’s not wrong.

Drake obviously has been the most commercially successful rapper since 2015, but he hasn’t really been influential since Views

Carti is the most influential hip-hop artist of the 2020s by a wide margin

Y’all was on here calling it a flop after its second week, stop shifting the goalposts

The reality is every single new album this year has been a borderline flop besides Morgan Wallen’s and Bad Bunny’s. None of these other projects really stuck whatsoever

Literally no one called it a flop after its second week lmaoo the numbers were good. You are the one shifting goalposts after I successfully destroyed your reply by highlighting the mistake you made and you are now trying to deflect onto something else because you realized you f***ed up

You can use those small tricks with other users but not me

    Goodbye

2 fan bases colliding should equal 2x profit

I feel like it's basically the same fanbase tho lmao

I personally have never met someone who likes Party who isn't also a Drake fan

If they’re saying that $$$4U was successful and MUSIC was a flop, yes they are wrong.

If they’re calling both albums flops, I’m not mad at that. No mainstream album this year has really stuck besides Morgan’s and Bunny’s

How much were you expecting Weeknd, Drake&PND, and Carti to do?

As far as 2025 releases, I think those 3 albums + Lady Gaga's have done very well - in addition to the two you mentioned.

Obviously Morgan Wallen is far ahead of everyone else but I don't think the 4 I named are borderline flops

    LickMyBalls

R&B album but half the album is rapping

Melodic raps don't really count to me, if I'm being honest

I even struggle to call Future a rapper

imagine u filtered out the 11-track scam vinyls missing 50% of the album that were shipped accounting for like 300k of those sales for HUT

just imagine receiving that in the mail

A regional, self-reflecting R&B album that dropped on Valentine's Day doing this is kinda crazy

Imagine being the biggest artist on streaming and selling a grand total of 9K vinyl when you finally decide to jump onto the physical format resurgence

There’s entire warehouses out there full of $$$4U vinyl that nobody bought
