like 2 weeks ago I gave a driver 1 star because he confirmed my food was delivered but it never was so I assumed he stole it

complained and got my refund and ordered elsewhere

like 5 minutes after my new food was delivered, the first guy came with my original food saying he was forced to confirm the dropoff due to a technical error and went to another location to get my food

felt so bad so I just tipped him $15 cash since it was technically a free meal by that point

If Uber Eats is like DoorDash, if you don’t accept all of your orders your rating goes down and you get less orders. The app gives you orders that are on your route that shouldn’t add too much time. If it does then it’s probably the restaurants fault. Don’t take it out on the driver, if he’s delivering food for money then he’s probably not doing too hot already.
