Exactly
Dudes are in here writing entire essays on why they don't tip
do you tip 6isco
yes
This nigga really think anybody on earth would inconvenience themselves and waste gas to get him his order first.
Regular businesses don't even do that s***, you just did that nigga bogus for no reason.
Fat b****
Nah you should definitely tip them if they aren't a s*** driver. Those dudes barely make anything tbh. Report the bad drivers tho.
Exactly

I'd definitely tip you
If you dont tip you have no soul
Denormalize tipping ! Isn’t it only the US that tips?
We normalized tipping so establishments don't have to pay real wages it's weird

Employers subsidize up to minimum wage if employee doesn’t make enough in tips to cover minimum wage. If u make $5 in tips in an 8 hour shift at $5/hr server wage, you’ll still be paid whatever the minimum wage in your state is.
While i disagree with that it’s logical from a business standpoint especially in food industry where profit margins are razor thin for businesses a lot of the time.
In states where they don’t do this and employee makes at least minimum wage + pockets all tips, employee can go home with $100 cash in 8 hours plus the full minimum wage.
TLDR it sucks for people working in states where minimum wage is 7.25 still and is really good for 12/hr states
Y’all shouldn’t be using these independent apps anyways
Everyone is getting f***ed in the ass by these companies except the company themselves. Local restaurants have fees they have to pay for the delivery app making their profit margins even lower. The drivers don’t make s*** unless they are doing 50 runs a day. Support the businesses by ordering through their own website / over the phone and tipping in store. IDGAF about the fast food chains
Ok, so why don't you that? You're a piece of s*** by trying to justify knowing someone making $2 DEPENDS on your tip and purposely not tipping them
Seems like they should be mad at their employers for underpaying them and not depends on customers who have paid their bills to also pay their wages. All at the same time their employers pockets get fatter.

Are you unfamiliar with how Uber works or something

And it's definitely an exploitative s***ty business model. But if you're the one choosing to use such a s***ty business , knowing that these guys might not be able to make min wage, feed their families, unless you tip, you're a piece of s***
These guys prob don't have too many other options, and Uber business model is based on the fact their workers can't unionize bc they're employed as independent contractors (bs). They can't fight for their rights or anything. So if you're going to use them, don't be an a******

its different when tipping culture is prevalent and ingrained, not exactly that simple. Im glad its not a thing where i live

Why would I give someone more money for doing their job?
The way I see it, ordering food only makes sense if you order a large quantity. Last time I got charged $9 in service and delivery fees for an order that totaled $11. And those fees didn't even include the tip. Also, the driver only had a ~5 minute commute. F*** that. Still tipped him the minimum option though.
And I'm not arguing against that but it's still an option
But back to the original point, if a immigrant who makes less than an average server with tax but is tired of the eating the same food and wants to go out once but only has enough for the meal and tipping would stretch his wallets how is that reasons for condemnation
Then eat at a fast casual place not a restaurant
Ofc it's ab
