is he alluding to the label forcing him to change the album? doesn't make much sense though cause i'm a 1000% sure the album he turned in at first was way more conventional than the album we got... but maybe this some murda music strictly as a f*** you to the label? 🤔🤔

man carti really needs to stop f***ing over the producers he works with
i love this version of the album but knowing carti changed everything last minute cause of his yes men/label really bums me out, if this keeps going on he's gonna need to start learning how to use fl studio himself

sure but the way he acts is f***ed, could have let richie know he wasn't gonna be as prominent on the album as he thought a lot sooner.
even richie said that he lost other opportunities because he focused on this project.
and sure you can say it's on richie for doing this but i dunno man, still sucks

Cudi literally perfect feature. The artistic decisions made on this album are very impressive. From skimming this thread, it seems like there’s some controversy around the decisions made before the execution of the album? As someone who has never listened to Carti like that, I’m not aware of the wider context, but whatever decisions were made before this s*** was released have definitely been genius so far.
