apoarentky the version with all the richie/pierre beats and major features got scrapped sometime this past month and carti just redid the album top down and submitted that s*** literally on mondayidek if travis was meant for WKR in the first place considering he probably finalized the current version of the album that day
it’s f***ing insane and even though i love the album we obviously would’ve gotten something far more polished and beneficial for carti’s business profile at the end of the day
When I said the producers are a different story I meant that that was obviously a more low brow thing to do for Carti, since he is closer to them and they spent years promoting the album and whatnot, and it's more expected of him to have Pierre on here than Post or Travis. For the features, I think it was more of an addition and they aren't worrying about the final product as much. They probably got paid either way and prob won't listen to the entire album regardless
so I don't think bridges will be burned cause of them, like they might will for prod credits

my dream wlr album would have been full of beno's and @ meh's but im satisfied with this direction

if you like the raspy vocal inflection hes doing on the first few tracks and the agression then youll love the first half
