tupacartiit's because he's patient and actually cares to perfect his songs. he'll sit on tracks for who knows how long, we probably wouldn't of gotten Die Lit till late 2018-early 19 had it not leaked. And the original batch of tracks for WLR that leaked were great and most rappers would've dropped those that year, but Carti probably didn't feel confident in them yet. He scrapped his entire debut tape to remake the bulk of it with Pierre--very few artists would have the artistic integrity to do that. He's the rap games Frank Ocean.
and people disregard his integrity cause of his lyricism smh.Meanwhile his songcrafting is second to none. Everything just fits perfectly and sounds so well thought out.
