I think its fair to feel negative about how the albums gonna sound based on the snippets. I dont think anyone should be saying it sucks outright cause obviously it hasnt dropped, but these snippets generally show the direction of the album or are songs on the album. We will see when he drops tho, I'm hoping he picks the best songs and the snips are just throw aways.

I've been a Carti fan for years bruh, I'm interested in where he goes as an artist. This era he isn't making music up to par to the old s*** (for me and clearly others). I laid out my exact complaint (this Bans x Carti song is the perfect example of what I was saying) and think if he doesn't try to diversify his flows or his rapping away from just the same s***, its gonna get played out (and it already has for many). Just like you, I want WLR to be great, but based on the recent features and snippets, I'm losing hope that it will be great. Like I said gotta wait for the album to drop to judge but when an artist seems like they are regressing usually you criticize so they don't continue down that path.

here’s the issue i have
i keep hearing about the “lack of diversity” coming from him vocally, yet he’s literally released ONE song and ONE feature in this immediate era, as the lean and bans features were both leaks.
if this album comes out and you listen to it in full and feel there wasnt enough diversity from him on it, then ok I absolutely understand where you’re coming from, but imo yall are overreacting big time
