1. You’re just not around them like that. I didn’t know a trans person till I got to like 10th/11th grade

2. Ignorance. A lot of people have misconceptions about trans people and sexuality in general. A lot of this stuff is very new.

i mean its weird but idk if its hateful. it could simply be chalked up to infatuation. i cant speak for trans niggas but id say it becomes hateful when u try and cut them off after learning that they are trans. idk i generally rarely catch feelings and i usually end up befriending or trying to befriend most of the women i go on dates with, i can generally understand losing interest quickly in someone as soon as u are interested in them. either way, i wanna understand where ur coming from
