Had a spat with my wife this morning.
Yesterday was one of those days where I was just crushed by reality. The reality that I'll never be a rider again. Sure I may hop on a rental bike at a track and get my knee down, but I'll never be a rider again. That's been taken from me.
My wife has been tremendously helpful in basically being my personal medical advocate and handling the legal bullshit so we get as much insurance money as possible.
But I told her that if I request it, she has to just pass it all off to one of the good attorneys we know.
2-3 weeks ago I asked her to drop the case in the hands of one of them because it was taking such a toll on her that it was f***ing up our home life.
But "the attorneys say I'm doing such a good job we don't need them" well great...did I f***ing ask them? No, I asked you to give it up and you said no. Promise broken cool. And thanks for upping our auto insurance so that now I pay more for two cars that I f***ing hate than I paid for one bike that I loved plus a car I hate.... She's been losing her mind trying to win the battle and get all the money we can.
Well thank f*** the f***ing subrogation people decided to settle this morning. It's done. I'm walking away healthy and with stacks.
