anyone here use a pixel with a mac? really tempted to jump from iPhone to Pixel, but Windows still ain't it for me.

what's the Android/macOS experience like?

Apart from the obvious like iMessage & Facetime there's Notes, Mail, Photos, AirDrop etc. I do tend to use a ton of Apple's stock apps because they work well cross-device.

Would love to figure out if that same convenience & seamlessness can be re-built between a Google phone & Apple laptop.

I know there are google alternatives for everything, like the Gmail app and Drive app, but I would much rather use open source software that has cross-platform support.

You're right though, can't knock Apple's ecosystem. I am just a huge camera nut and absolutely love the Pixel mainly for that reason. Plus it's like the smartest smartphone ever. So many futuristic AI-based features that no one even comes close to matching. Very tempting

I have both phones, I daily the pixel. iPhone more for casual.

But the seamless movement between the two will never quite be there in terms of their major applications
