I actually randomly thought of that group the other day when I remembered reading about them in a Pitchfork review (yes I read those from time to time when I’m down bad needing new music) and they didn’t seem to be on Apple Music so idk if they are on streaming

yes but their list would've already been compiled and maybe even published before 12/8 when SZA dropped. some publications choose to include December if the album remained a constant for them, and the public, throughout the year. SZA fits that bill
