it’s just uncomplicated technically inspired/confident songs that (i feel at least) his discography has been sorely lacking for a while now.

No matter how you slice it the album wasnt a very good kendrick lamar album.
production, songwriting, and themes are a step down from his usual work and it's painfully obvious this entire project was tossed together in the last 4 months or so to capitalize on his momentum
way too much west coast pandering, samey flows and beats, fishing for memes. it all reeks of opportunistic bullshit and not something I'd expect from Kendrick Lamar
