Can we get a real nigga to confirm whether or not this is deserving?
If you like Folky type of albums with organic production, then you will like it. It’s a good album overall but not a 10/10 imo.
P4K just loves her. Her last album 8 years ago got a 9. So her comeback album which is good naturally gets a 10.
I hope this isn’t the last 10 they give out this decade
We'll reconvene in 2030 when they give a 10 to Troy Ave's masterpiece
Not enough to give it at 10. This one takes about a week b
Well this is her 3rd 100 so far so I guess the critics disagree. Most have em up weekends of drops they’re all just initial reactions
bro formed an opinion without listening lol
imsure its a good album my problems run deeper than that
can anyone recommend an album of hers to introduce a new listener? im tryna get into her
I'd recommend starting with Tidal and listening to her albums in release order
we considering r&b rap adjacent?
Yup. Frank/The Weeknd/Partynextdoor/Summer Walker/etc. pretty much don't count

I gave it a 10 on first listen but I’m a fan. Thy are critical websites they should have a higher critical standard and allow the music to live more than 3 days.

i here what @02Shaq and other ppl itt are saying. but the RULES are different for these artists and thats why i dont have the motivation to hear this s***.
fiona apple leaves a mistake in the track and its patriarchy-defying "art" (literally what the review says @ one point). if a black artist did that then theyre "lazy".
Yes
no order:
grimes
caroline polachek
kilo kish
kero kero bonito
mj
prince
MIA (she count?)
mcr
janelle monae
radiohead
not really a perfect list but on the spot id say thats accurate
album might be good but p4k ratings are meaningless
Yeah I’m realizing now how stupid we all look

Woah what’s this about leaving a mistake in the track?
I’m too tired to give this s*** a listen rn. What you said is facts tho. Let’s say Drake left a mistake on a song And tried to pass It off as an artistic choice. he’d get crucified
album might be good but p4k ratings are meaningless
wasn't meaningless when dark fantasy got a 10 apparently
