Gunna is a better rapper/lyricist than Travis by a considerable margin

But also his music doesn’t really imply the grandeur or depth of Travis music so people don’t go in with those expectations they just have fun

Travis music and aesthetics ask you to take the music seriously so people look at it a little more and realize there’s nothing there

It’s not about introspection. Not everything has to be introspective. But an artist should have SOMETHING in the way of personality, something to say, like literally anything, the bar isn’t that high
