jack is young and has a lot of space to grow as an artist even if his content matter doesn't change. surface level and digest-able lyrics always have a place in music. album was not nearly as bad as people make it out to be and this initial reception to it will help it stand the test of time better, imo.

great production, solid features, and smooth delivery. very reminiscent of comeback season by drake, just lacking a bit of that charisma.

all things considered, 2.9 is insanely low... just feels lazy. id understand a 4 being the lowest, can't see this being higher than a 7. Half of the project is really good, a quarter of it is decent filler, and a quarter of it is boring. Personally rate this a 5.8.
Like a blade of grass is one of my favorite tracks of it for sure. Poison was interesting too. its tough to gauge the level of introspection I'd like to hear, but he'll fill that void when he has lived more life. actually looking forward to his next project bc of that fact, could be really solid
