Lmao I don't have the numbers in front of me but I feel like we're still a ways away specifically on 3rd down. The two aspects of offense I feel like we would be similar is limiting turnovers and red zone. Gotta remember, Sirianni never called plays before and he's never had to work with a mobile QB before either so he and Hurts were still learning about each other. There have been signs of growth (penalties have dropped significantly as well) just gotta hope that the upswing continues this back half of the season.

Yeah, I think Nick is the guy. I still don’t think Jalen is though. Even still, I think we sneak into the wild card.

I'm still not all the way there yet with Jalen either but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at least encouraged with his recent play. He keeps this up and he'll change my mind (especially since our schedule the rest of the way is food)

Big game this weekend. We need to get a home dub. Not winning at home yet is a joke
Expensive

Kinda about where I expected it. Hunter Henry and Jonnu Smith both getting about 12 per from NE and he's better than both. Slightly over Mark Andrews' 14M per who he's at least comparable to without matching Kittle or resetting the market

Need to feed him more and get out monies worth
Maddox seems like an overpay for a slot CB
Happy Thanksgiving.
Hurts sucks
This is the first time I’ve seen definitive evidence of “Hurts is scared to throw to his left”. I’ve kinda been ignoring it because in recent weeks we’ve had a lot of plays where he had no choice but to look left bc of the route combinations but yeah. Doesn’t excuse Reagor being Reagor but does show DEFINITIVELY that Hurts has confidence issues going left. No reason why that throw underneath shouldn’t have been made to Smith and then especially once he turns up field

People were making the point that there's a safety over the top, and technically that is true. By the coverage you can tell they're playing 2-Man, man across the board with 2 safeties deep. However, from the end zone angle you can see that the safety on DeVonta's side initially bit on Reagor running the post route. If Hurts had put this towards the pile-on there's not a safety today who would've broken up that pass.
Not excusing Reagor dropping a pass that you CANNOT drop, but Hurts did miss Smith. If not a TD you at least convert for a 1st down with still some time to take some shots into the end zone.
