Yeah but this is the third coach Howie will get to hire in 8 years. If the player side of things doesn’t get fixed, Howie will eventually have the be held responsible, and a new GM will be brought into place, which means they’ll likely want their own head coach. So in a way, the head coaches job security isn’t all on him, but he’s also relying on Howie to get s*** together as well.

Also, we have a QB controversy, and a terrible cap situation for at least this coming year, and more years if Wentz remains on the roster. They just fired a coach who won a super bowl three years ago, and we have a GM and Owner who micromanage everything. If coaches have other offers they’re gonna think twice before taking our job.

But yea, obviously there are tons of benefits to being the eagles coach compared to some other situations.

Last year he got over 4000 yards with no receiver getting over 500 yards, got this team to the playoffs with a bunch of street park players and was top 3 most effected QBs by dropped passes.

The year before that he came back too early from his knee injury and that compounded into the back injury.

We also had like 14 different O-lines this season and he was the most sacked and hit QB in the league by far. Exampled by how Hurts was sacked like 6 times in that Arizona game. Plus Doug kept trynna run the Nick Foles offense with a Carson Wentz.

not about that dog. its about if the guy can win you playoff games and a super bowl. Since his injury year he misses routine throws that any high level QB needs to make. Sure Carson can get us to the playoffs maybe win us 9 games, but he has not shown us the fans a single thing to believe he is a QB capable of winning the sb and that is what its all about. He's on overpaid average QB with a trash record against teams above 500. sure OUR TEAM SUCKS around him but I dont really care for that excuse no more.
