Want to point fingers at the qb like the personnel around him is a winning team
football will never be a single player sport as bad as crybaby fans want it to be
1. like people judge college prospects... you can seperate the player from the team/situation and judge them on their skills and what they do good and what they do bad
2. No one here is solely blaming Wentz lol
3. Wentz is so far gone from being an average QB.. his pocket awareness is literally putrid, people want to throw up sack numbers but a lot (not saying most) are on him. then the time he’s missing open receivers, the times he cant see his open receivers. He performs mediocre when it doesnt matter.. all the other times its f***ing awful

Contradicting your asinine first point by attempting to throw out how terrible the offensive line has been to fit your narrative
good job on spewing s*** out of your fingers

I haven't said he was a good quarterback you weirdo
the whole team is s***
but hey throw the rookie qb behind an offensive line that is likely to get him hurt

Damn Marc Farzetta got canned. I kinda enjoyed 97.5 morning show. Cataldi and them old heads on 94.1 morning show are dumb annoying. Philly sports radio needs some youth.
You think he was vocal about Wentz being ass this year? Like why else would he randomly get cut

There doesn't really have to be any logic behind his release, we know this coaching staff plays favorites particularly on the defensive side of the ball (namely Nate Gerry and Jalen Mills, Mills who plays the same position as Parks). I know there was an IG comment about him wanting more playing time, it was nothing outlandish or talking bad about the team either just in a calm way but you can tell he's as frustrated as we all were. But yeah, look back at the LJ Fort situation a year back and how we went and became a starter (and got an extension) with the Ravens. This team, on a front office, coaching staff, and player level are each too stupid to be making logical decisions, so no point for us as fans trying to figure out the "logic" behind said decisions, imo.

Makes sense. You’d figure we’d at least see what he can do before letting him go. He played like what, 100 snaps? What a joke.
I just saw reports that both Howie and Doug are more likely than not to be back.

Exactly, and it's not as if Mills is playing particularly well at safety either so simply cutting a guy who isn't even seeing much playing time anyway (was set back because of injury) is just another move in a long line of stupid moves.
I've seen conflicting reports, a few that say Howie is back, one from a former GM that says Howie should be gone, a couple leaning back and forth on Doug, but the thing is we all know Lurie isn't happy. For him to tell the coaching staff during the bye (after a win against Dallas) that he isn't happy with the performance, and then for the offense to look WORSE after the bye isn't helping anyone's case.
My stance is, I want a clean house. If Howie is to stay, put him in the broom closet like Chip did, keep him around for contracts, leave others in charge of talent acquisition. If Doug is to stay, be a damn coach and bring in someone else to run the offense. Those are my conditions for each if they are to stay and for me to be satisfied, if they can't be met then just get rid of them both.
Wentz's contract is prohibitive to move right now rather than a year from now unless if the Colts and Frank want to send over a crazy offer. Bring in a new regime, let him and Hurts battle for the job next summer. If Wentz rebounds fine. If Hurts takes the job and shows something, fine. If they both fail, we'll be right back near the top of the draft for the new regime to get their guy anyway.

Spot on, man. I would prefer to keep Doug, but also bring in a new OC to call plays. The way I look at it is, who is going to want to come here to coach with Howie in charge most likely, a terrible contract to a regressing QB, and a horrible cap situation? Doug has to be better than whatever guy would end up coming here.
In a perfect world, all three would be gone. But unfortunately, I our situation is f***ed

My thoughts exactly, I actually don’t want Doug gone I’ve only said this because of his prior stance of not wanting to give up play calling. If he’s willing to relinquish that and bring in a guy then of course he can stay. Goes back to what you said, it’s not as if this position is entirely attractive as is either with the cap situation, Roseman, Wentz falling off a cliff, etc. I’m more than willing to give him another year if he can step back, hand the keys to the offense to another, and be an overseer of all. If it doesn’t work after that, then all bets are off and there’s no saving him.
My two biggest things with Doug are play calling and talent usage. If he gives up play calling, he can spend more time being better at utilizing talent (i.e., not playing the corpse of Jason Peters/Alshon Jeffery over Jordan Mailata/Travis Fulgham)
Only way Doug keeps his job is if he starts Jalen Hurts and he balls out.
If he gives up play calling and the offense starts moving then it'll basically seal his fate.

Isn't Doug the same person who(along with Mike Groh) couldn't figure out how to implement Golden Tate into the offense?
Even fans on other forums is clowning are playcalling. Dudes really said they wouldn't be surprised if we using High school plays. Like..

Yup I remember that exact interview, which is funny because Tate should be one of the easiest players to implement into the system. At his peak he was one of the best YAC threats in the league, just get the f***ing ball in his hands on the move. Tunnel screens, slants where he's already moving up field, anything, but they couldn't do it.
Fast-forward to this season (and part of other seasons in Alshon's case), you draft Jalen Reagor due to both his speed and his YAC ability. Instead, you give YAC producing plays (screens, slants) to....Greg Ward...and..Alshon Jeffery. Our two slowest receivers. And in Reagor's case you draw up four verts on 3rd downs with him getting a back shoulder fade on the boundary. What? Like if you're gonna play that slow motherfucker Alshon then at least send HIM on the fade since he at least has size and should be able to box out a corner.
Just simple s*** that shouldn't be overly difficult with personnel is so infuriating because it happens on a weekly basis.
For majority of the season Miles Sanders was averaging over 6 YPC. He only had 6 carries for about 15 yards or some s*** Monday night, which dropped his average to 5.6 YPC. Do you understand how absurdly good that is for ANY running back? Then that begs the question...why did he only get 6 carries? Going into the game, why is he only averaging between 14-15 carries a game when he has such absurd efficiency on the ground?
