For much of quarterback Michael Vick's scintillating stint with the Philadelphia Eagles, a major area of focus was the amount of hits he was taking and how to fix it.

Like Vick, one of Wentz's greatest attributes can also be a weakness when applied too liberally. Wentz loves the big play. He'll stand in there and give a route time to develop, as he did on the 55-yard heave to rookie Jalen Reagor early in the game, and is exceptional at navigating the initial rush and creating off-schedule plays with his arm and his legs. The flip side is he gets himself -- and the team -- in trouble by not always knowing when to say when.

Just trade Jax to a contender, overhaul the coaching staff, overhaul the strength and conditioning staff, and hire Sam Hinkie. I know he in the NFL now

It's too early to talk like this imo, but it feels like the same mistakes this year.

I'm cool with giving Doug one more year to right the ship because he has been dealt a bad hand with injuries, bad drafting(joe Douglas and Howie), etc.

But he gotta get new staff. We are just uncreative on offense and it's the same stupid stuff on defense.

Once the first 15 scripted plays are done the play calling just falls off a cliff.

literally everyone was trash but i’ll judge this as our week 1 tbh. way too many guys were injured last week to judge the team. division is still really winnable imo

we added new offensive minds this year and the offense still looks mediocre... looking like Doug is the problem I think he might need to give up playcalling

When he’s on, he’s amazing... he’s just incredibly inconsistent and sporadic.

I don't think the conversation can be on Wentz just yet. he's on the fkn hot seat, don't get me wrong. but we gotta put a team together before he takes all the blame.
