I definitely agree with that point, it’s for sure a risk putting him at a different position, but I’ve seen a handful of Bama fans talk about him being more suited at the edge spot. I’d have to see some snaps for myself at both spots to get a clear idea. But he could be an interesting pick if Pearce and Nolen are gone
What really put the idea in my head, other than his athleticism, is that I read he was recruited to Bama AS a pass rusher, but had to move to LB because of too many bodies. So it's in there somewhere, just hasn't been refined
Steen szn
Yup, maybe even Trevor Keegan. And then at the end of the day I'm not sweating Howie and Stout getting the OL right for this team lol

Realistically, there are players this past season that would put us in a deficit without them on the field, Baun, Lane, and AJ being a few. But we’ve seen Steen step in and achieve a level of success during the multiple times Becton was out with an injury. Will always love Becton for stepping up and reigniting his career in Philly, but if he’s the cost of us signing Myles, then so be it.

My feelings exactly. Ideally I'd want him back, but I'm not letting him be the deciding factor between watching Jalen Carter and Myles Garrett on the same defensive line in a title defense campaign
We really watched the defense evolve in real time this past season
I'd be willing to let Becton walk for Myles Garrett
Baun the only one I think we FOR SURE have to re-sign, but if it really comes down to it...it's Myles Garrett lol
No offense I prefer Baun if I had to choose one. But Garrett would moreso replace BG, no?
I'm wary of having too much star talent on defense. Too many leaders is a bad thing. It's fun to think we could get a star name in free agency but Idk if that level is necessary considering our team structure

Yeah Garrett would be replacing BG (retirement) and Sweat (FA) so we need more bodies off the edge regardless
Baun was real life the best at his position this past year so I understand, I want him back badly. If he WERE to walk tho, the only way I'd get over it is if we brought in a Myles Garrett
I think the culture of the team is firmly in place that we can afford to bring in more leaders. Look at Saquon, he's front in center at everything and more so carried the environment forward rather than tried to re-make it. Myles would have that same effect on the defense imo
Deebo to Commanders, Garrett is wide open

Had to trade a first and several 4ths to get Tariq Woolen on Madden yesterday
New schedule is boring. Playing the same niggas again lol
We stay at tampa and at kc

Would love to see how Fangio utilizes him
Thank you for the memories Slay, team legend
Aye lmao
I wouldn’t consider this likely but just funny if this happens twice

Hope this happens tbh he showed this past year he can still play at a high level, would be excellent depth
Now do they resign Rodgers or go another route across from Q?

I wanted Rodgers back regardless, now he feels like a necessity. Have him compete with Ringo and go with whoever wins. If Slay does come back he’d be nice depth but I wouldn’t want to have to rely on him. We were fortunate he was still playing at a high level at 34, can’t bank on that twice or risk ending up with another Bradberry

Rodgers + 1 more piece from the draft/free agency would be more than ideal. I trust that Ringo can take a bigger step though, he showed he was competent enough this past season. Just need someone to spell Coop(CGJ can do that I suppose but he's better in the backend than at slot)/ possibly replace Ricks(not sold on him yet)

I know Daniel Jeremiah in his mock had Malaki Starks fall to us, that's a hand-in-glove fit but I wouldn't want to take another DB that high since we gotta address the dline. But yeah just adding to the depth, especially at the nickel just as DeJean insurance
